How many of you taking out private loans secured rates under 3-4%?

For those familiar with the old Grad PLUS loans that were around 9%, how does this compare?

I understand private loans don't come with the same protections as federal loans, but if you're not borrowing an extreme amount, the monthly payment seems pretty manageable. You could choose a 20-year repayment term to keep the required payment low and maintain flexibility, then pay extra whenever possible as long you make sure your lender has no prepayment penalties.
