If anyone out there speaks Japanese, could they please look at this facebook page 大相撲 SUMO and confirm if the report that Wakatakakage is out for the Nagoya Basho because he's in hospital recovering from surgery for compartment syndrome, is true. I couldn't see it linked to any Japanese news agency, but it also didn't appear to be complete rubbish. If true it would be a complete tragedy. I sincerely apologise if I've got this wrong or fallen for clickbait, but it seemed genuine - and of interest to the group.
