what to know about this cats in yard situation ? hex 48 changing lines 5 and 6

I asked "what to know about this cats in yard situation ?" and got hex 48 changing lines 5 and 6

Thoughts on what this answer can mean ?

We been putting water for cats who pass in our yard for a long time now ..... but in last few weeks we started to feed them near our door too , now i wondered if we should keep feeding them , stop feeding them , or even take them inside the house (unlike free outside cats now)

* later edit : asked "should i adopt (make one cat an indoors cat) this one cat ?"(one of them tries to sneak into the house everytime we live it open and got hex 4 changing lines 2 and 6)

But since i read someplace at least once some advice of asking the i ching what he has to say about the situation ....

Than unlike usual i did not ask "what to do about this cats (with the 3 above options in mind) but asked "what to know about this cat situation ? "

I even during asking was a bit going back and forth between what i should know and just asking " about cat situation" and even popped to mind during "what i should do about it"(which is what i really want to know) and also just saying when asking (splitting the yarrow stalks) "cats" and also a bit of "what is your advice on" ....

So i wonder if i made a mistake and should have asked in stead "what i should do about the cat situation?"

Should i stay awake during this day or asleep (Cause planned power cut during it) hex 58 lines 2 and 4 ?

on 24/06 (four-five days from now) the electric company would cut the power for 8 hours during the day , and it is very hot here , i lately sleep during the day , but without AC it is very hard to sleep here during the day

So was considering changing my sleeping time specifically for this , so i asked if i should shift my sleeping time so at 24/06 i should be asleep or awake ? and got Hexgram 58 with changing lines 2 and 4

Should i remark this person on the volume of the stuff being heared on the laptop ? hex 3 changing lines 1,3,5

Not a one time thing , and i did remark in the past , not sure if over do the remarks

Wondering if i should not remark at all , remark even more times , remark less

Got hexgram 3 with changing lines : 1 , 3 and 5

(though i was not too focused while starting , doing line 1 (yarrow stalks) , maybe even thinking on some other question that bothered me ... so not sure if the reading is ok in such a case ......... added to my worry is i have been getting tops 2 changing lines for readings for a long while now ... so also makes me wonder if line 1 is a mistake (and maybe the entire hexgram by that is a mistake) and also it makes it harder to understand with 3 lines comapred to 2 or less)
.
.

I have no idea what this reading really is saying

To (Wen Wang Gua method users) If i ask the i ching "at what date i should do this?" .... does "never" "dont do it" etc option included in it ?

I mean it seems like a way to "save" on questions

So if there is something i think i should be doing - i do not need to ask i ching first if i need to do it for sure .... i can just ask when to do it - correct ?

I ask this especailly to people who use the "Wen Wang Gua" method which i do not know how to use - and i wonder if i ask for a date - than post here the i ching reply .... would the "don't do it" option exist for them in the answer ?

OR that using the Wen Wang Gua you will always get a date and there is no "never" option ?

* and if someone wants to expand on how exactly he gets that "no" answer technically that can be benifical for me (cause i might get into Wen Wang Gua in future) and for other readers who practice already Wen Wang Gua

Asking two questions in one reading? "should i meet this person and when ?" or i must split it ?

I asked about should i deal with an issue myself or go meet a professional or ignore it ... this are three options , and i got hexgram 6 lines 2,6 ... the lines seem to say very accuratly i should not deal with it myself and judgment talks about "meeting the great man"

But i wonder if the I-ching just choose that hexagram so it can say this lines and they are the main thing and the judgment is less the focus

So now i still have doubt if i should meet the professional and if so when to do that

Do i need to ask separately if i should meet and than ask separately what date to do it ?

OR i can ask in one reading "should i meet him and IF i should than on what date ? "

Asking a yes no question plus a date question ? (and asking about my personal reading too hex 6 changing lines 2 and 6)

* To mods : im asking about tarar remove from teeth (on top of the big question of combining yes no plus date in single reading) , i dont see it as too much of a health question (unlike asking should i go to a dentist or not) , but if you think it is problematic than remove this post *

I had a tiny bit of tartar on teeth that i tried to remove myself despite it not being adviced , i removed most of it (cause it was just newly formed , thoguh still not adviced to do this) but stopped and got worried i should go to dental hygeinsit for it so i asked the i ching , if i should stop trying to remove it or go to hygenist or just leave it as is (cause i was not in a hygenist for many many years and it was fine - i went to the dentist sevreal times , but not to dental hygienist)

And i got hexgram 6 with changing lines 2 and 6 .......... The lines seem to confirm i should stop trying to remove it myself - i am pretty sure about that

The judgment of the hexgram seems to say i should go to this dental hygienist - though i am not sure about that , it seems it says to "meet the great man" would talk about dental hygenist i guess ?

So since i am not sure if hex 6 means yes or no about going to hygenist for sure , i wonder if that answer i got was a clear "yes" or should i ask another question of " should i go to the hygenist ? " to be sure ... .and than to ask at what date ?

Or should i ask in one question something like "should i go to a dental hygenist and if so on what date?"

For example in hexgram 46 he mentions a brass mirror and a carpenter and a yard stick and each hexgram he gets all this different images that i wonder where he takes it from ?

This seems very different than other translations i read

What is the logic in King Wen sequence of placing 63 "after completion" before 64 "before completion" ?

I get the concept of things changing so after completion does not stay complete .......... but i don't get the "before" "after" aspect of this order

Hexgram 63 has in its text already that it is not finished and static forever .... so why not put it in the end ?

and if it is to show an not static perfect hexgram at the end than fine - but why not add any other hexgram without the "before" wording .... before means it did not "finsh" already

wont it make sense to have there order reserved ?

And i understand some do not like the king wen sequence - so i am not even asking if it is correct or some spirutal significance - i just want to understand the logic of whoever really organized the order of 63 and 64 ...

maybe it is a mistake with time , and the real order was 63 than 64 (which would make more sense to me) ?

What are the hexs that thier lines make an image ? (ex: 27 is a mouth and hex 50 a ting)

20 - Tower
21 - mouth biting on something
27 - mouth

48 - well ........... Not sure about this , i cant see it , because what parts of the well correspond to what parts ?

50 - ting (pot)
56 - someone walking om mountain
62 - wings

.

.

You know a hexagram i forgot to add ? add in comments

.
.

.
.

Would be great to read all the other examples of images that lines in hexgramas make (and if i have a (?) next to one than confirmation or disagreement on the suggested image , or explain it

so any hexgram that has similar image that you know of that is not on the list here that you can add can be great

and any debate about this topic can be good :

the topic of the image made from lines (vs image we get from other means like knwoing the trigrams - so mouth is not mountain above thunder - but an image of a mouth)

Would be intersting to read about the whole idea of hexgrams that got thier interpretation by just what image the line order creates ?

And intersting to hear peoples differet opinions on this whole thing (is it the more legit reasoning for interperation . more than say thunder over mountain way of looking at it etc)

Just a coincidence the lines make this image ?

more important than texts ? more important than elements of trigrams ? more important than yin yang interaction ?

* I probably will edit this post and add new hexgrams that people will suggest ... so if you say hexgram 3 really looks like a fish holding a candle ... than i can add it to the list there

* good chance i will remove this post , just for record

Do you read the second hex or ignore it? and if you read what is it talking about? the future? if you dont listen to advice? if you do listen ? extra info ?

So would like to hear from people here who use the i ching and that belive have more or less a good understanding of it , if they read the second hexagram or ignore it ?

And to the ones who say they read it , what does it talk about ?

Is first hexagram past and second future ?

Is it showing the future if i listen to the advice in first hexagram ? Or maybe it shows the future if i dont listen to the advice in the first hexagram ?

Or maybe it is just a way of i ching to get extra words in and still talks about present? so just added info ?

Or maybe it is some different type of info , maybe less important than first hexgram ?

Any added insight on this topic is welcomed

( I think this is a good question to ask more than once, also cause it helps understand , also it is like a survey what people go by , also it shows different spesific users of this sub and what they with thier specific comments go by , and people who talked about this subject in past if they reply my still give more insight , or even explain same thing with different wording and help understand)

When to start doing this lifstyle change ? Hexagram 50 , changing line 2

I asked "When to start this lifestyle change ?" and got hexagram 50 changing line 2

Was expecting an answer along the line of : wait a bit or wait untill things are clearer or start soon or start immediately

So i am not sure what this result is saying (in regards to what im trying to figure it , which is when to start this change)

(Part of the changes for example is stop reading the news (no news updates at all) , and not eating sweets )

To make it clearer for example if i would have asked "should i make this change ?" than i would guess the answer means "yes" , but i was asking "when i should make this change?" and so the answer seems unclear to me

What effect did my fix have on it (compared to going to professional) Hex 2 changing line 4 ?

I tried to fix something not adviced to fix alone , but for several reasons (like money) decided at least now to do it myself , and i asked the i ching what kind of effect did doing this have on them (what i fixed) (was thinking if it is good effect or bad effect ,or is it ok )

cause me fixing alone while it seem to go well might cause more damage , or might just do a shallow fix (compared to professional)

I got hexagram 2 and changing line 4 .... not sure what it means , ideas ?
