There’s a few IM residencies I have come across that have vacancies. I enjoy my current program so far, but it is very far from my entire family. I have 0 support system out here. I’m interested in applying to a spot that is closer to home. Should I just apply after the 45 day mark or should I first reach out to my PD? I’m scared to tell my PD in case the new program goes with another applicant. I don’t want to be on her bad side for the next few years.
