My camera roll as a paranoid first time dahlia grower
After an experienced gardener friend raved on and on about how easy and addictive dahlias are to grow, and seeing the gorgeous bouquets she’d bring to display at work all last year, I decided to give it a shot this year.
Did loads of research, found the best spot, prepped beds, ordered some tubers online, overthought it for several weeks, finally put them in individual pots to get established. And now I’ve just transplanted them to my raised beds. And somehow the algorithm is just now telling me about all the crap that can go wrong with these guys?? So now I’m outside every day inspecting every leaf and treating for every possible nutrient deficiency, pest, etc, like a psycho person (yes I am adhd and ocd, this was supposed to be a therapeutic hobby for me???)
Anyway, just wanted you guys to lol at my camera roll right now as I document every little change (or potential problem) with every plants.
