Tornadic vortex near Horizon City earlier this afternoon
We're obviously no strangers to dust devils in the Borderland, but this one was different. It was a gustnado, a brief and shallow whirlwind that forms along the gust front of a thunderstorm. It was stronger than we usually see, as my neighbor's palm tree was thrashing like crazy inside the vortex, rocks were blown to the sidewalk, and trash was everywhere after it passed. It formed on the western outskirts on Horizon City around 4:40-4:45, just before we were hit by storms.
For someone into meteorology, this was one of the craziest weather experiences I've ever seen here. It is decently rare for us to have those, just to put that out there for y'all.
EDIT: Attached images. They're blurry, but the best I got for visual proof
