Bollywood music is slowly losing its soul because now every movie has 6-8 composers working together like a playlist project instead of an actual album. Earlier one composer used to understand the film emotionally from start to end, so the soundtrack had identity and consistency. Now every song feels like it belongs to different universe. One track is Punjabi party, next is lo-fi heartbreak, then suddenly rap cypher. There is no musical vision left.

Just look at this where 8 people are composing for one movie. It feels less like filmmaking and more like content manufacturing. Producers want one viral reel song from each composer instead of creating actual music. That’s why older albums stayed with people for years while new albums disappear in 2 weeks. Too many composers also means nobody takes full ownership of the music anymore.
