Oryctodromeus digging to the Garnet

Oryctodromeus digging to the Garnet

An Oryctodromeus, Idaho's official dinosaur, digging with its beak - with a Star Garnet at the bottom of the ground

This flag symbolizes the Gem State spirit, uniting the digging dino with the garnet symbol, one of the most prominent used in the redesigns

A little more "Cascadia" wouldn't hurt...

🟢 After doing some research, I realized that my original idea didn't do justice to the nickname "Evergreen State"; 🟢 I'll try a small timeline in the comments to demonstrate how the design got to this point; 🟢 Only the following description should be used in the voting, attention MODs

• This version is inspired by George Washington's coat of arms, changing the orientation to the hoist side; • The stars were modified to match the "George Washington Headquarters Flag" version; • The colors are reminiscent of the "Cascadia" flag

I followed the trend of maintaining cohesion between the ND and SD flags - reversing the orientation between the field and the band

I kept the standard blue field of the current flag, with the central symbol inspired by the 20-rayed sun - the seven inner rays continue to represent the Oceti Sakowin, along with the Black Hills of the state

The black in the composition also evokes sunflowers, which are common in the Great Plains
