I got a call from the college saying that the Orientation program is held on 19th August, 9:30 am. Students should come along with their parents to attend the orientation.

Please be careful while contacting colleges about their fees. Some students have reported that certain colleges are offering a lower fee ONLY if the student places that college as their FIRST preference in the TNEA choice list. However, this condition may not be mentioned clearly during initial enquiries. You might just be informed about the fee but not about this condition clearly, which can lead to confusion later.
Whenever you call or visit a college, don't just ask, "What is the fee?"
Instead ask
"Is this fee applicable to all students who get admitted through TNEA?"
Or
"Is this fee valid only if I keep your college as my first choice during TNEA counselling?"
And also ask them,
"Are there any conditions attached to this fee concession?"
Getting these details in advance can help you avoid making decisions based on incomplete information. Always verify the fee structure before preparing your choice list and make sure to be very specific with your questions.
