Trojan cat
Just moved into our new home 2 days ago. When I came outside after bringing our first load of boxes, mama was waiting at the front door.. as though she lived here and maybe someone left her behind like a jabroni. (Pic 2)
By the first night, she was chilling with us. When she was laying down, I noticed her nipples looked chafed like she was.. gasp.. nursing little ones. Kinda heard that guy going ”but wait there’s more!” in my head now. I was going to treat kitty with Advantage next week when our cats get theirs but now knew to put that plan on hold because that would be bad if she had kittens nursing. (Pic 3)
Early this morning my wife & I were awakened by what sounded like children horseplaying on our porch and wondered what our kids were doing up so early and why are they outside? Turns out it was children playing but someone else’s children. Criminally cute kids. (Perps in Pic 1)
The cow and ginger are a bit more shy and ran away for now but baby tabby cat has warmed up quick (Pic 4) and is sleeping on my foot as I type this.
We already are up to our ears in cats but we’re going to make sure they are taken care of and earn their trust too so we can handle them to get them to the vet and eventually a new home/s.
