I searched for this bordeaux for many weeks, i find this one, the filament is not mate how i like but is ok. In rest upgrades are: blackberry optical trackpad, new keyboard, the HG upgrade boards for CM5, better 4g module, ssd, active cooler.
I build this 80's laptop few days ago, i really love this design factor but infortunatele is pretty hard to find one in good looking and technical conditions, so i find someone sharing the files online and i start priting. Of course i made many modifiucations because the initial design is pretty bold and on electronics not easy to find because are already old and to meat my technical requestments i must to work on a lot. Enjoy and if you have questions, just message me!
Of course a handheld computer must be mobile internet capable, so from now BlackShell integrate also SIM card mobile internet like any other phone, just slug your SIM card with internet transfer data capabilities and you are online anywhere the cellular network provide you internet data.
People asked for transparent shell, so here we go! BlackShell go crystal clear now in a new version more slimy with Li-Po battery.
HUM BS is a Raspberry Pi 5 Linux Handheld Computer.
Device components are: screen, keyboard, casing, pointer mouse, CM5 carrier board, power supply, amplifier board, battery, speaker, and a kit containing other cables, screws, nuts and other materials.
I’ve always wanted a handheld device for learning to code on the go. To commemorate my days playing WarCraft III, I’ve named this little computer the 【HUM BS Pi】.
Overall dimensions: 149.48mm × 112mm × 20mm. The build is neat and tidy.
The display uses a 4.3-inch DSI screen with touchscreen functionality.
The Rii keyboard layout is well-designed and comfortable to use, making it ideal for coding on a handheld device.
The mouse uses a ThinkPad-style TrackPoint with left and right mouse buttons.
It features an audio amplifier circuit, allowing you to watch videos or work on AI projects.
VI. The handheld’s battery supports simultaneous charging and discharging, with a capacity of 10,000 mAh. Based on personal testing, it can last 5.5 to 6 hours whilst streaming YouTube via the web browser.
VII. The front and rear panels are made of CNC-machined aluminium alloy, providing excellent heat dissipation.
VIII. Interfaces supported by the handheld:
The project is for sale now and requires a certain level of technical experience: unscrew the back cover – remove the back cover – insert the CM5 – reattach the back cover – insert the SD card – power on.
I saw some “smart guy”already posted on Kickstarter as his own project, but of course is false probably he just bought somewhere one unit and lied that is his unique product ready for purchase in December, i hope that 24 people already backed to take their money back somehow. For more detail about the project, please message me privately.
Vintage design style of 80’s similar with first laptops but with the power of any kind of SBC board. Is coming without SBC board in Kit version but with a quality 7inch HDMI display with onscreen controls, quality audio speakers, digital pointer, SSD PCIE board, OLED display for battery levels, power board for charging, 3s Li-Ion battery, control board for OLED display and pointer, remains space inside for another expansion board like is WaveShare Pi5 IO board for second SSD, 2x HDMI, second USB-C port or a second battery. Of course the shell is full 3d printed except the lid hinges, the dimensions are 230x130x47mm and weight with everything installed 929g.
Hello everyone, few days ago a was published my latest Cyberdeck based on the new CM4 & CM5 carrying board with touchscreen display called Pad5 v2.0 by #BigTreeTech & #Biqu. In this time i was working to design a desktop stand with some basic functionality and also renew the shell with few upgrades like different power switch, bigger speakers and cooler cover as i don’t like much how was looking that cooler all uncovered. This time I decided to not use my own #Bambu Lab P1S FDM printer but using the service of #JLC3DP to make this new shell and stand, please check the pictures and let me know your thoughts.
This is BlackShell, a new Cyberdeck based on the new mainboard Pad5 v2 by BigTreeTech that support Raspberry Pi CM4 and CM5 and features beautiful 5inch touchscreen display, a lot of i/o like usb type c, usb 3.0, hdmi, mipi, gpio, fan, rj45, stereo speakers, powered by 2x 18650 batteries, size 150x130x18mm, weight 375g.
New keyboard with backlight really working, bb optical trackpad, rpi cm5 16gb with active fan cooler, hacker gadgets main board, battery board and ssd plus new speakers board with few extra I/o and rj45, new shell including the middle part, now around 500gr less weight and not the last REX rpi os for cm5. Finally a working device.
New small project powered by Raspberry Pi CM5 16gb based on a custom mainboard with various inputs like usb3.0, dsi, hdmi, pci express, accompanied by (correction) 2.8inch mipi dsi ips display resolution 640x480 that is actually exactly the same footprint of CM5 board and custom made BBQ20 keyboard with trackpad and rotary wheel, everything you need to feel that you living in a real mini world. Right now available in 2 pieces the display and computer part, and the Bluetooth keyboard, but i am searching ideas for a palmtop design even will be a little thicker i am very curious how will looking at the final. I know this keyboard is a little hard to work with, but at the final if is to come out something cute small size probably everyone will make abstraction about the size. What do you think?
