Job Application Tips
I know there’s probably a lot of these already, but wanted to start fresh before scrolling forever and looking through the reddit.
I’m still early on in my career, 6 years in, 5 at the current place, an aerospace component supplier.I manage an R&D group of 3 engineers and a Supply Chain Engineering group of 3 additional engineers. I feel like I’m ahead of the curve and have a lot of responsibility and achievements for 5 years in. This company also works around small divisions within the larger umbrella, so I very much feel the “bootstrap” “wear many hats” start up environment.
That said, I’ve applied to jobs at Anduril over the last year or so and not even gotten a single interview.
What can I do to differentiate myself?
Does reaching out to recruiters on LinkedIn actually work?
Do I need to commit more time to perfecting the resume?
Any tips appreciated. I’ve been following the company for awhile, genuinely believe in the mission and am yearning for the start up grind.
