why this soda attack my face?

We rarely drink soda. But when we do, those carbonated bubbles attack like sneaky ninjas and she never sees them coming. Every time.

Is my kind supposed to eat this bright green, radioactive shlop?

The face of a suspicious goob as she stares at the weird new food. Then a cautious lick. And finally, the shift to delight as she realizes what deliciousness lies in front of her. It’s my favorite part of feeding the goobers :).

Japanese shaved ice with melon syrup.

why is the sky exploding

Fun fact: Goober ears’ hearing cells regenerate. That’s why they love yelling in your ears & watching fireworks up close.

We like steak

You can often find wild cockatoos foraging for medium-rare steaks in the Australian suburbs. And then sharing the loot with their cockatiel cousins.

why this goober so smart

Big brained goober also knows how to turn off the lights when she wants to nap. Scared the heck out of me the first time I came home seeing the lights were off.

I thought smarts were exclusively a Goofin Cockatoos thing.

“Go play with Tiny Tiel.” ; “But daaad, Tiny Tiel is a big meanie”

This particular goober play-fight was under supervision (spectation) by me & my partner. Though the goobers (voluntarily) live together so they also have plenty of unsupervised play-fights.
