Looking for advice on what to do with €10k in savings

Hi all, would appreciate any advice on this. I have about 10k in savings and considering travelling/moving abroad for a year. Looking for advice on where to put this 10k as I don't want to let it just sit there in bank account. Or should I wait til I get home and put it in a pension when I get back? (Is that even possible? I have zero clue about any of this stuff)

Any advice would be appreciated including any articles/books you can recommend on investing? Thanks!

Can anyone recommend a pension you can also use if you move abroad?

Hi everyone, looking for pension advice. The way I see my career going, I will do a couple of stints working abroad before properly settling in Ireland. I reached out to Zurich pensions about this and they said that their pensions are only available to people working in Ireland.

Can anyone recommend a pension plan that you can still contribute to if you move abroad? (Is this even a thing?) Any advice welcome. Thanks!

Before AI takes our jobs, let's use it to our advantage

I just passed the March 26 Company exam after answering 4.5 questions. Sharing in case useful for anyone:

  1. Create a Notebook LM account (it's free, all you need is a gmail account).

  2. Download all of the past exam scripts provided in the Google drive for whatever subject you're studying (god bless whoever made that drive)

  3. Upload all of the exam scripts to a Notebook LM folder

  4. Congrats, you now have an AI tool to help you study!

I 100% would have failed company without this. I found it less useful for tort, as the exam questions overlap a lot and so the AI would get confused when I asked it a question about a specific topic. But still handy.

Some useful prompts for studying:

"Please list all of the cases in the sources regarding [e.g. director's duties; examinership]"

"Please use the sources to list the key points needed for an essay on [e.g. restriction of directors]"

Best of luck!!
