One other question is what determines the number that gets added to your metabits/knowledge with each time the container fills up and increases so total you're working on. It usually starts out with the added amount at least two orders of magnitude smaller than the base amount, and that Gap usually closes to one order of magnitude after a while, at least on the idea side.

I really miss being able to tell where numbers came from, especially that really big number that I had no idea where it came from, but it clearly got bigger every time I rebooted my sim. That's how I knew I was getting faster by rebooting.

How do I know that I'm doing any better by rebooting the sim? Does it come down solely to the purchases now?
