Quick check: Is this AliExpress listing genuine? + Version question

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to buy a Nollie 8 ARGB controller, but unfortunately, it isn't sold locally in my country.

AliExpress is currently my only option since it manages all shipping and taxes upfront for my location.

Before ordering, I wanted to double-check a few things with the community:

Authenticity: Is this AliExpress listing selling the genuine/original Nollie controller, or is it a bootleg/knockoff? Listing

LINK : https://aliexpress.com/item/1005010245567729.html

Version Differences: On this link, I see two different versions/options available to select. (one marked as new and the nollie logo is yellow on the case, the other one has the nollie logo colored in blue and pink) Could someone explain the difference between them?

Any help or experience buying from this seller would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: ITS NOT A GENIUNE PRODUCT, buy form the original seller on aliexpress only

Thinking about switching to Nollie 8 — does it work smoothly with OpenRGB?

Hi everyone,

I'm thinking about upgrading my setup to a Nollie 8 ARGB controller, but before pulling the trigger, I wanted to check if anyone here is using it with OpenRGB. Does it run smoothly without lag or latency issues on custom effects?

For context, I've been stuck on an older version of OpenRGB for a while because of my current Cooler Master ARGB Controller A1 v2. Ever since a change was merged into the OpenRGB codebase for this specific controller, every dynamic effect has noticeable lag and stuttering unless I roll back to older builds. Which now i cant because windows defender flags and blocks its older driver.

I really want a controller that offers solid, lag-free performance on modern OpenRGB versions. If you have any experience with the Nollie 8 (or Nollie controllers in general), I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Thanks!
