Looking to purchase first new car.
As title says, looking to purchase my first new car. I’m leaning toward an electric. My current car is a 2016 Toyota Corolla, we bought it used, it’s definitely has gotten me through thick and thin. Has been my only car thus far. Only electric car experience is my mom’s model Y, haven’t driven but impressed by it, just don’t want to get a Tesla for moral reasons.
My work commute is around 8 miles to and from.
Mainly use the freeway.
Don’t need tons of storage.
Budget is max $27k, can be persuaded to do $28k.
I have great credit and a co-signer whose credit is amazing. So not worried about that.
Not too car savvy and inexperienced with cars overall, not completely helpless but definitely not a pro.
Any suggestions or recommendations , things to avoid etc. is greatly appreciated.
In Southern California if that is important.
