Has anyone here ever done the numbers on bond origination vs "do it yourself" getting bond quotes from banks?

I'm talking about a bond origination company like betterbond or ooba... I believe there is others.

I feel it's worth the effort doing your own due diligance. I also feel involving a third party would place some sort of overhead but these companies selling point is that they source cheaper interest rates.

Is it a no brainer for you? Have you had any experience with it? What is your opinion?
