hi, I’ve come across an opportunity to apply for a job here and if I get it I’d be living here solo, atleast for a few months. Is this a safe place to move to? I am okay with it being calm and not like the city, I’ll be absorbed in my books anyway but I’d love any advice about what it’s like to move here.

for the record, I can’t swim but I love the beach. I’ve been brought up outside India but went to college and was in a coastal town for a couple years.
