first post so im sorry if this isnt exactly in the right subreddit! im currently applying to colleges and im planning to major in microbiology or at the very least biology (or bio-adjacent). while working on application stuff, i found out ball state also offers a bio major with emphasis on micro i believe? im already leaning towards iub since they offer a microbio major but i wanted to get second opinions before i actually fully commit. in case this might help, iub is an hour away from where i live while purdue and ball state are like 2 hours.

what do you guys think?
