First time claiming with little to no evidence besides deployment. Will a personal statement help at all? And also how does TERA benefit us?

Any OEF vets online? I often reminisce on my time in Afghanistan. How are yall doing?

Missed initial C & P exam due to all of the paperwork being sent to my mailing address but I also included my living address on the website, but I didn't know I already had an exam appointment scheduled. All of a sudden I get an email telling me.i am denied on all of my claims because I failed to show up for my exams. Filed a supplemental claim while letting them know that I still need to be examined for ptsd, tinnitus, etc. I actually just had my tinnitus exam and waiting now for the others. I just want to get insight if anyone knows how supplemental claims go and how long they can take. I don't see any steps now on the VA website which sucks. Has anyone been in this same situation?
