31st birthday trip to Isla Mujeres

Hello! My boyfriend and I will be going to Isla Mujeres in the second week of June to celebrate my 31st birthday and I am looking for recommendations on where to stay. My budget is around $1,200 for five nights but I'm flexible. I want to stay around Playa Norte or Centro - we love walkability and night life but want somewhere where it will be quiet enough to sleep at night and not crazy busy during the day. When traveling I love to be active and explore so definitely not wanting an all inclusive. Would a hotel or airbnb be best? Any tip/recommendations for activities, restaurants, bars, etc. would be much appreciated!

Help with time lapse basics and figuring out my camera

Hello! I recently bought this time lapse camera and I cannot figure out how to take a basic time lapse video. I have tried to find videos online explaining how to use this particular camera but I haven't had any luck. I am brand new to this and the manual isn't helpful at all.

I bought this to take remodel videos of my house, a couple hours to weeks long sessions. I have taken a couple videos on time lapse video mode but they just come out normal speed. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, can anyone help with resource videos or point me in the right direction to figuring this out?
