I'm planning on moving to NYC (Brooklyn) in October. Ideally, I would love to have a job set up before I get there, or at least have prospects/leads. I have been working in fashion in product development for years, but have been really struggling to find a job in that field for months, so I'm not picky job-wise. I will take anything honestly as long as it's full time, or even part time that pays decent. My question is - are there any websites or programs for young people moving to NYC that can help me secure a job BEFORE I move? Is that even possible? Or should I just go for it, move with savings and try my best to find a job within the first couple weeks of living there?
