Customer wanted a spoon sports FD2 but in his favorite color scheme. Just got a light layer of 2k clear to seal in the decals, once cured it will get a wet sanded in a couple spots and a layer of final clear coat then assembly. Almost Friday folks hang in there, as always thanks for looking 🤙🏻
Couple Nissan Customs finished up and getting boxed up to go to there new home. I really enjoy making some of the simpler customs like the top secret r34. Customer had two livery options and chose the simple less busy one. The other car is Sean’s S15 that got like 1 full min of screen time In Tokyo drift 😂 thanks for looking 🤙🏻
Custom Nissan Silvia S15 with marbled candy red paint. Marble paint is a hate it or love it for a lot of people. Some think it looks dirty others think it almost looks like smoke or camo print. I enjoy doing the effect because no two cars will ever be the same or have the same look. The back story of this car, I built it back in 2022 for Cars For Cancer to raise money for a children’s cancer charity. A member of the diecast community on Instagram used to host it every year. I took home the best custom trophy. The trophy isn’t about skill or how cool the car is. It’s about the car that raised the most money. This car at hammer sold for $285 which blew me away! I was glad I could rile up my following on Instagram to raise that much for a good cause. Over all after all the cars sold that were donated we raised just under 10k. Little datto 510 I made back in 2016! Love these old throwback customs! Funny back then asking guys on Instagram for help and basically getting told to F off! Jet black always looks beautiful with a coat of 2k clear coat over it! This little civic type r is looking good so far can’t even tell it had holes in the trunk for a wing. Next step is tape and second color.
