APLDs Chronoscale playbook

APLDs Chronoscale playbook

The new Chronoscale website is only and it is mind-blowing. Eight sites, three continents, up to nearly 3 GW critical IT load (at least 2 HW compute) possible until 2031 possible. And what is even more interesting: The sites align with APLDs plans in ND, Alabama and Finland. So the playbook gets a bit clearer. I expect that APLD will continue to partly lease to hyperscalers to secure affordable capital, but will lease out the surplus to Chronoscale. According to my calculations, APLD will have 4 GW live in 2031. If 1-1.5 GW of these are leased to Chronoscale, we will be able to collect the HPC premium, which at one point leads to a major rerating. I'm looking forward to today's ER.

Big things to happen in the South

You probably all follow Stocktwits, anyway, for the sake of discussion, here is the link to the new LLCs APLD registered:

Besides of South Dakota, where the state denied tax reductions, these were followed by leases later. Wes publicly stated on several occasions that they can build 7 campus in parallel. I expect them to have >2 GW online end of 2028 and >4 GW end of 2031.

Old Forge Five base glaze & stain

First of all, thanks Joe for sharing so much. If you wanna make your own glazes and don't know where to start, check out his website: https://www.oldforgecreations.co.uk/blog/freedomfive-glazes-getting-started-with-mixing-glazes

I worked a lot with the copper, cobalt and chrome glazes. However, I wondered if anyone tried to use the base glaze with stain included. Do you see the stain in the otherwise oxide-colored glaze separating from the whitish titanium? I'm surprised that my search didn't show my anything, I am sure it was tried out. If not, I'm testing it out and making an update here.
