Royalties not paid

Hello all,

I did some work last year for the launch of a rather successful niche brand in the retrocomputing industry. They are currently selling my work on their site. I was promised royalties, and it's been over a year now - I have contacted them multiple times and gotten multiple "I'm sorry, we'll get that fixed ASAP" messages back.

Suffice to say, I no longer trust them to do so.

Have any of you encountered this? What did you do to eventually get paid?

I have the emails that promise the royalties but no explicit contracts were signed.

Question for Iranians in Construction

Hi New Iran,

I've been knocking an idea around in my head for a while now - and I had some questions that would help me game it out further.

What is the most common construction method for longer lasting structures throughout Iran. I'm assuming wood construction is rare outside of places like Mazandaran. I see there's a substantial amount of brick architecture. What is the standard size for bricks in Iran?

I'm thinking of designing a basic standardized set of plans for Javidnam memorials that any community could build - imagine a seven-sided (for the amasha spentas) gazebo-sized structure in Neo-Sassanian style that could contain a fire pit, permanent or temporary installations for the javidnams, large enough to sit and contemplate their sacrifices.
