Got inspired and made a sculpin. Pretty proud with how the fins came out. I tied them in as an X in hopes that it would stay and I’m pretty surprised it worked. Got a few holes in my thumb from wrapping but worth it.
My husband got me Blane’s book and I’ve been fiending his techniques. One of the things that stood out to me is that he trims his tail pieces individually - thought it was tedious but the outcome is better than all the others I cut.
I tried a new way to make the tail today and I think I did pretty good! Hope you all like it 🙂
