Canvass Letter Question - Job Specifics

Is there any way to make a positive correlation between the Civil Service canvass listings here:
https://www.cs.ny.gov/elmspublic/secure/canvasses.cfm

... and the StateJobsNY postings here:

https://statejobs.ny.gov/employees/vacancyTable.cfm

Canvass numbers and Item numbers do not seem to have any obvious relationship.

I intend to respond to each canvass, but I'm trying to find details on some and just not able to locate it on the Civil Service site.  It may never have been there.  I just think I might be wasting folks' time by responding positively to a canvasses for a position that is not remotely in my wheelhouse, based solely on the title.

ONE TIER AT A TIME

OSC used to have inforgraphics for NYSLRS Tier 3/4, Tier 5, and Tier 6. I think they also had versions of the same broken out for Police and Firefighters. I don't recall that they had them for NYSTRS.

They were handy for a quick comparison between retirement plans. I wish I had saved local copies. They were there as recently as a couple weeks ago. They're gone.

All the links now point here: https://web.osc.state.ny.us/retire/plan-info/index.php

I am a state worker. How can I be expected to read without pictures ???

Seriously, though, I used often them to illustrate to folks that 20-year 5% FAE difference in retirement between Tiers 3/4/5 and Tier 6. Hope there's something new to make it clear after all the doings going down.
