Should I warranty my Transmission?
Hello I am new to this subreddit and I've had my 22 Highlander XLE V6 FWD since new but never thought to join. Now the point of me asking this question is when im at low speed (under 20) I do hear a whine from the vehicle under acceleration and deceleration at this low speed. Ive never questioned this but after seeing some posts here I've learned that this may be a concern. I have never towed or hauled with the vehicle and I always make sure to not heavily accelerate until the vehicle is near operating temp. This is not the first concern I've had about the transmission as under light acceleration you can abruptly feel the engine load as if it had bad engine mounts. Ive brought this up to my local dealer at 13k and they said its a common complaint with them even my 2009 es350 with 155k didn't have this harsh symptom. Just looking for some insight
