My hands hurt but it’s done! Inspired by some videos I saw of people creating their own versions of the Wretched Flowers lamps. I might add some beads to this, we’ll see. Thanks to this subreddit for helping me figure out the expanding round 4-in-1 pattern at the top

simple & easy! one main journal, water color (I also do drawing/art in my main notebook, this one is used on a pretty rare basis when I’m specifically doing water color), movie/book thoughts log, and the field notes serves as a catch all for everything else. works great for me :)
Got this monstera and rubber plant from FB marketplace (never again). I repotted both when I got them earlier this year. I realized over time just how diseased the rubber tree in particular was looking, posted on Reddit and learned both had thrips.
The slides contain a bunch of pics of both plants, including new and old leaf growth. I live in an apartment with a bunch of plants in every room; there's been nowhere I could easily quarantine them, so they've been within a few feet of my other plants for months.
I need to closely examine my other plants to see if the thrips have spread. The rubber plant I'm willing to part with... it's just so infected at this point, though I'm wondering if I can potentially propagate one of the newer leaf growths. Is there a safe way to do this without carrying thrips over? The monstera is the one I'd love to save if possible. Some of the bottom leaves look rough, but it's sprouted a few beautiful, large leaves this summer. I feel attached to it. But if it's a goner, nothing I can do about that.
Any advice on how to save the monstera, and even the rubber plant maybe? And generally... I'll take any and all advice re: thrips. How you suggest using these products (fyi the spray bottle on the right is for a soapy water solution using the dish soap), how often, etc etc? I'm open to any obvious or non-obvious suggestions. Just wanna get these pests out of here 😩.

was just admiring how well these propagated/recently potted pothos cuttings have been doing under my bathroom skylight, and this is all I could think of haha. a moment of joy as I continue to deal with a thrips infestation in several of my larger, beloved plants just a couple rooms over

I’ve had a majohn wancai pocket pen for years (someone I knew who was really into FPs gifted it to me) and recently bought a Hongdian Black Forest 1861.
