Is this really my life now?
I was diagnosed in early 2025, I've had 2 dilations since. It took them 30 years to find it. And now that they have, I'm still having a hard time accepting I'm going to have to have basically annual surgeries in order to feel human.
I asked about the skin graft procedure but they said it might not be possible in my case. Every hospital visit feels fairly distressing and I feel like I shouldn't even be in there and yet I have to be, every year without fail, or I suffocate and that's that.
How do you all cope with it? How do you accept it? It all just feels so unfair. Thank you for reading my rant.
