Flooring for uneven wood floor?

We've done a bunch of renovations to our rustic cottage. The last thing to do is deal with the floor. It was painted by the previous owners several different colours over the years. Some of the paint contains lead. Due to the unevenness of the floor we think repainting might be our only choice.

A few years ago we put LVP in the basement of our house. Based on that experience I know our cottage floor is not flat enough.

Here are a few photos of the floor. Wondering if there is any flooring product we could use as an alternative to painting.

Adjusting the UTRUSTA powered push opener

Installed this over the weekend to a full height drawer that has the garbage can. The problem we're having is when pushing at the hand height it doesn't operate. I suspect this is due the height of the drawer front, that it bends too much and doesn't transfer the force of the push down to the bottom where the actual operator is. The best way to get it to work seems to be to push with your foot near the bottom. This will eventually lead to marks on the drawer front.

It also seems to open pretty fast/hard.

Any idea if it can be adjusted to sense the push from the handle level, and also if it's possible to adjust the force with which it opens?

Edit: link to the product I am talking about
