To start with, what’s the purpose of naming this movie mother promise? >!Just for one character to prove his mom that he loves her so much that he didn’t break mother promise?!<

I feel the comedy was forced except bits here and there which were genuinely funny. There is no motive hence the payoff doesn’t feel satisfying

Long character developments, almost first half of the movie but doesn’t do much for each character. Maggie was portrayed as someone who is bigger than anyone in the movie but it doesn’t reflect as, when he’s on screen.

Too many plot holes and creative liberties to make the story happen.

Also I am not very sure about this, but during our show there were hardly 20 people in the audience and during few jokes I heard a lot of people laughing from the back rows(laughs were pretty loud), when I turned back the third time the number of people in the back rows and the laughter I was hearing didn’t match

What I am thinking is that during some sets the characters in the background were laughing and the laughter was dubbed and included in the movie. Again, I’m not sure about this but I feel they inserted laughter for some jokes for them to act as catalyst for audience
