Cross-talk between apps in android is feature or bug?
On my android, I have a food delivery app and an app for access control to a closed gated residential society. As soon as the delivery guy picks up the order from the restaurant, the gate access app automatically generates an approval request for the delivery guy along with his name and the app I am ordering from. I never opted for this feature and I can't find a way to stop this.
Is this cross-talk a feature or is my privacy being breached big time? How do I turn it off? Please help.
Update:- I am talking about India specific apps. Access control app - NoBroker Hood Delivery partner - Swiggy
I checked the app permissions and it has many vaguely descripted permissions(can't attach the SS). But still it is not clear how it is accessing the other apps info since the delivery app doesn't provide any external notification when delivery guy picks up the order.
