I just opened https://www.reddit.com/r/rust/comments/1voapjq/rust_backend_slow_dev_compile_times_im_exhausted/. I'm wondering if i can swith to Zig easily.

• Is the dependency/library ecosystem ready? For example is there something like rust-embed?
• What might be the challenges?

I'm not a comfortable, lazy, or quitter. I enjoy challenges, but I'm really exhausted by Rust's build times during development.
