Exploring my local woodland in the late summer afternoon. This image consists of 10 photos stitched together in Photoshop. Shot on a Canon R5 C with an EF 135mm f/2.
Taken on a trip to the Scottish Highlands back in September 2025.
The clouds were moving quickly, casting shafts of light across the landscape. I set up the camera, hoping that it would catch the house on the edge of the lake. Using the shaft of light to illuminate the house (or subject), the aim was to draw the eye there straight away before exploring the rest of the scene, providing a better sense of scale. With a bit of patience, I managed to get the shot and shoot a 10-image panorama, using my Canon R5 C and an EF 135mm f2. I hope you like it!
