I am currently working in a completely different industry (healthcare) as part of a broader career break after my ex company fired half the 4000 pax workforce leaving me with survivor guilt and extreme burnout (workforce optimisation, ironic).
There is an amazing opportunity for me to return to corporate. they are offering to buy out my notice period and have me start immediately.

I don’t feel it’s right for me to do it to my current employer but the flip side is that the company can fire us on the spot but we have to give 8 weeks notice so really why I am hung up about this. if it’s good for me, should I just resign and leave?
