Is there any saving this :(

Wicked storm last night and one of my little hotties snapped from the wind :( is there any magical gardeners tape i'm unaware of that will help her heal??? This part of the plant is currently being propped up with a stick but there are more storms coming today, so it won't hold. If there's no saving this part, should I clip it?

What do???????

Little Hotties

Love these guys! So excited to see the full blooms! I think Panicles like this are so visually interesting

Back to life

Just want to document these two's somewhat perilous journey:

First 2 pictures: early May, we planted these pretty pink bigleaf hydrangeas in our front yard where they'd both get partial sun. These were clearly forced bloom, but we were delusional and thought they'd be happy here. They were not(Please be nice, we are new at this. First time homeowners, first time yard/havers). Blooms quickly fades, leaves scorched, a mess.

Second 2 pictures: transplanted them last week to a spot in our backyard that only gets a few hours of morning sun. You can see by the state of them that this was borderline emergency surgery.

5&6: today! We have new growth! I am hopeful that this transfer and the emergency deadheading happened early enough ( given how much shade they get and that spot is always notably cooler) that they will settle in and survive to bloom another year. :)

P.S we planted little hotties in the front to replace the bigleafs and they are THRIVING
