Preliminary Enfin Leve Core review - Orzai, Elzari, Mairun

Elzari shirt- not really my thing. I got the gray and it's a very oversized fit. Not terrible but I don't need to keep it. Texture is interesting.

Mairun belt- buckles feel like plastic? not worth $116. I might try the Tebaru as I know that buckle is better.

Orzai cargos. Awesome. Comfiest pair of pants I own now. It's clear why they are less expensive, but I appreciate the more minimal design as I don't always want to be super techy looking, and usually prefer more minimal bottoms with more interesting jackets. I like that they are a shorter leg length. very versatile.

keeping the pants the others are going back.

Best men's technical underwear

Yes, really.

I don't mean anything that looks crazy just the best quality boxer birefs with technical fabric that are wicking, comfortable, don't ride up (important), look good, and will last.

I just converted all my socks over to 3 different Darn Tough models and it has been a game changer. I could probably cut it down to two models but I already bought a bunch of the others.

I need boxers next. 1 model for everything would be ideal. I usually like longer boxer briefs due to the ride up issue but a good pair of regular length would be better.

Enfinleve metal jacket choices

I've wanted a Vollebak metal jacket for a while and have been considering it but I don't find the cut flattering or interesting enough to justify the price (looks too long).

I just saw Enfinleve makes 3 different jackets with a black metal material. I ruled out one but it's hard to decide between the erantzun and orain. Any experience with either?

What are rough cost range estimates for small batch lens design and production?

I've thought about trying to learn lens design but that would take years and this is likely not a simple design (I do have an EE background but little to no optics).

I need a specialty photographic lens that does not exist. I've exhausted all options on the market past and present and I'm considering what it would take to have made.

Simplest would be to convince a camera company that they need to make this, and I do have a contacts where that may not be unrealistic.

Basically it needs to be corrected from 400-1100nm with a large image circle (70mm+) at a focal length of around 40mm for 54×40mm sensor coverage with room for movements.

So what are realistic design costs and small batch production costs for a specialized camera lens? I would like some basic industry knowledge before I reach out and waste people's time or before it's feasible without proper financial backing.

Schneider makes some machine vision lenses (Xenon Emerald) that come closest but not quite.
