Elytra setup:
- Unbreaking III + Mending
Experimental findings:
- 64 fireworks allow approximately 50,000 blocks of travel in the Overworld within ~30 minutes.
- Elytra durability lasts roughly 30 minutes of continuous flight before breaking.
- Repairing a fully broken elytra requires exactly 32 XP bottles.
Resource calculations:
1 Shulker Box of XP Bottles:
- 1728 XP bottles total
- 32 bottles = full elytra repair
- Therefore: 1 XP shulker = 54 full elytra lifetimes
2 Shulker Boxes of Fireworks:
- 1 shulker = 1728 fireworks
- 2 shulkers = 3456 fireworks
- 64 fireworks ≈ 50,000 blocks
- Total travel distance from fireworks alone ≈ 2,700,000 blocks
Combined result (XP + Fireworks):
- Total travel distance: ~2,700,000 blocks
- Total flight time: ~1620 minutes
- Equivalent continuous flight duration: ~27 hours
Summary:
With 1 shulker of XP bottles and 2 shulkers of fireworks, a player can theoretically travel around 2.7 million blocks using repeated elytra cycles with continuous repair.
