A friend got "E" grade in two assignments of MBAFM. Does she have to resubmit these assignments? I had heard you can only submit them once. But what if you get a "E" which I guess is a failing grade?
Doesn't one have to separately pass the assignment though it is worth 30% grade?
Anybody with experience, please share the guidance.
IGNOU's IGRAMS, the only practical way to reach the university, is dysfunctional. We do not know if the query was closed or resolved? No reasons are given.
Today, I had one query about study material dispatch and another about assignment question papers. Once I put in the first query, the system refused to take second query! What if you had two queries on different topics? These are artificial controls.
The Economist has an article on bad government websites. If they had seen IGNOU website, am sure their issue would have had double the number of usual page count.

So many messages have unnecessary URGENT in them trying to grab attention.
The issue is almost never urgent. It's usually, someone was lazy or sleeping over and now have panicked and wants to get everyone worked up about their personal case.
This has reduced space for truly URGENT issues which need critical help from someone experienced.
To all those posting URGENT this or URGENT that, avoid this trick; everyone knows about it.
How can one answer such questions?
What is “worth”?
Won’t it depend on many factors like market conditions, your own abilities, etc to get the best outcomes?
Also, does a degree mean you can get a job? Not always!
So what is worth it?
My ABC ID lists name as First, Middle, and Last
But IGNOU ID lists it as Last, First, and Middle
The IGNOU system keeps flagging this as an error.

This is a rather lengthy paper and requiring precise definitions.
Key topics that repeat often are:
a. PESTEL analysis
b. Porter's Five forces / Everything by Porter (most important topic)
c. Balanced Scorecard
Best strategy is to have acronyms for everything. Otherwise, it's all shooting in the dark and won't get grades.
This is the MMPC-011 - Social Processes and Behavioural Issues - June 2026 Exam. It got done on last Friday, so sharing the Question paper (as IGNOU will take a long time to upload it).
Notes:
There almost a sure-shot question on conflict management each year - make mental map of answer based on Thomsas, Pareek, and Contingency Theories. Rest you can fill-in with examples.
Perception, Behaviour Management, Group dynamics are other key topics that are usually tested on.
This time two easy throw-ball questions were on: stress and transfer pricing.
Because IGNOU will take months to upload it.
This paper is impossible to pass without knowing a few formulae at least. Prepare well in advance.
I submitted 7 Assignments today at K J Somaiya Arts Science College. It’s inside the campus which has a school and engineering too. Ground floor, on your right as you walk in. Small letters IGNOU board.

The room now has a AC so not easy to spot. Maddening amount of paper lying inside the room.
Different registers for masters and bachelors.
The clerk said much more assignments in May than in December.

Order is cover sheet, IGNOU ID, question paper of assignments, and then assignment. Make sure each assignment itself has IGNOU block as per the programme guide.
Nobody is checking anything.
For single sided paper folks, your assignment is much thicker - use a heavy stapler with bidirectional pins. Carry your own stapler.
Overall a maddening exercise and eats up all the time to read and study.

Writing a handwritten page takes 8 to 10 minutes. Each assignment has 5 questions and there (for me 7 courses with 7 assignments), so:
1 page = 10 mins
1 question Q = 6 pages x 10 mins = 60 mins
1 assignment = 5 Q x 60 min = 5 hrs
7 assignments = 7 x 5 = 35 hrs
Naturally, you cannot do this one go. Best to do 1 Q per day as soon as the Qs of assignments are published.
Avoid copying from screen notes, you will get neck pain. Take a printout and then write.
This is donkey work, hence many get tempted to outsource it. Don't do it. Anyway, there is no teaching in IGNOU. This writing will at least get some concepts into your head to retain over the years (else what's this degree useful for? It's your investment of time even if you ignore everything else).

IGNOU is truly sarkaari. They could have recorded all lectures and put on YouTube. They are using 1970's distance learning technology of Self-Learning Material (SLM) books. Now, eGyankosh website is mostly not working.
How can things be so bad? Simple answer: Sarkaari. Everybody does government job (nice salary and perks) in IGNOU and doesn't care what happens to students. Their salaries come from Govt., not from the student fees.
Due to work, I may have to miss June TEE's 2 papers? I have paid the exam fee.
