[CA] EBT system down?

Marin County.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I also get CalWORKS and am supposed to get my deposit on the 2nd of every month but it has never, not once, hit on time. I have to text my caseworker literally every single time they say money is headed to the cash account. I have a feeling I’ll be going the weekend without this expected deposit and I have no clue what we’re going to eat.

In addition, the county settled with me outside of court and has 12 days left to issue a Notice of Action letter corroborating the conditional withdrawal and issue payment but the county rep isn’t responding to me now.

Marin County, CA confusion.

Hi,

For any CA eligibility or TANF workers, I could really use some guidance.

I was on CalFresh and nothing else in Contra Costa, receiving $1421/mo. Also on Medi-CAL.

I had to transfer my case to Marin where I also applied for CalWORKS. The CalFresh got transferred but they cut my benefit literally in half (down to $700-something), denied Medi-CAL, and approved me for cash aid for $1632.

My family is homeless with no income.

We also applied for Family Stabilization and got denied for “not meeting their criteria.” We were approved for the Housing Support Program but, my GOD, everything moves glacially.

I was depending on my CalWORKS deposit today, but the system seems to be down and I haven’t gotten it. I’m in a complete panic. Our car died a few weeks ago so we don’t even have that to stay in.

Is the system down? Why did my CalFresh get cut and my Medi-CAL transfer denied? My caseworker is on vacation this week and everyone else is so goddamn slow to respond. I’m so exhausted. Please help.
