Am I able to safely use a bit of gap foam, or some type of electrical tape to safely close this gap behind my florescent light above my sink area?
Long story short, I share this wall in an apartment with a neighbor and smells cooking odors are making their way through this gap. Obviously it's not the end all solution, but I want to see if sealing this gap off helps reduce the smells.
