I ran it in Easy Coco using Amafibra Golden Mix 98 coconut fiber, just as recommended by Easy Coco. I didn’t measure pH at any point during the grow — I only monitored the salt concentration in the runoff to track possible salt buildup in the substrate. I always used the amounts recommended in Easy Coco’s feeding chart; however, buildup still occurred because this plant tends to consume less than recommended, according to Dutch Passion themselves.
The plant completely took over the grow tent and forced me to sacrifice the others. There were 2 feminized Euphoria plants and 4 regular Punto Rojo plants, but I ended up keeping only the two biggest ones. One of the others was a regular Punto Rojo that turned out male, and I let the first pollen sacs open so I could make a homemade cross.
The plant was transplanted into a 7L pot two weeks before switching to flowering. It grew like crazy, reaching 1.2m and ending up only 9cm away from the light at the maximum height I could manage. It completely filled the entire 60x60 grow space. I totally underestimated how much this plant would grow in coco/mineral cultivation.
For most of the grow it stayed at around 31°C with 70–80% humidity. I only added air conditioning during the last four weeks, keeping temperatures around 26–27°C and humidity at 65%. During the final week I lowered it further to 24–25°C and 60% humidity.
I think it could probably have gone another week or two, but I was really afraid of losing everything to mold. For the last two cycles, I haven’t managed to take a plant all the way to the finish line — so far it’s only been losses and a lot of work.
