So I’ve had my gs mini for the majority of my life bought it after shoveling driveways for a full winter when it came out. Always played it with 10 gauge strings because I was a kid and rarely plugged it in. I’m plugging in a lot now and we can’t a get an amazing tone out of it. It’s got some sort of fishman pickup not sure exactly what one. I had it tuned down a half step and played E shapes the other night and it just wasn’t good tone plugged in. If I go and put 13 gauge strings on there it will help me out right?
I just ordered some to see what happens.
