Forward Party Louisiana town hall Thursday

Forward Louisiana is holding a virtual town hall this Thursday at 6:30 pm. You can RSVP here: https://home.forwardparty.com/trevormcqueen/louisiana_virtual_town_hall

The Forward Party is a third party founded by Andrew Yang and is expanding into Louisiana. Our mission is electoral reform, such as holding open nonpartisan primaries, establishing independent redistricting commissions to end gerrymandering, and using fairer voting systems such as STAR or Approval. Here are our values: https://www.forwardparty.com/#values

Independents make up 45% of voters, more than either party. 60% want a new party. We aren't here as a last resort. We're here because honest leaders don't sign NDA's, because the corporate-owned legacy parties keep Louisiana in the dark ages, and because power needs to be returned to where it belongs: the people's hands.

Hello from the Louisiana Forward Party

I hope I'm not breaking all the rules doing this. I'm Trevor, and I'm letting y'all know that the Forward Party is getting started here in Louisiana. We're a growing third party with ballot access in other states. I believe Louisiana is a purple state, and we're a purple party, so I figure we can get along.

We're all about open primaries, not spamming hate texts, and building trust from the ground up, one neighborhood at a time.

I'm afraid to post links, so if you're interested in what we do, shoot me a DM and I'll give you our website and other deets. You can easily internet search Forward Party too. In the meantime, stay hydrated and don't forget to vote.

EDIT 1: For popular demand, here're our priorities: We want ranked-choice voting, leaders who sign a pledge to be community role models, science-based decision making, independent redistricting committees to end gerrymandering, and grassroots organizing instead of a rigid party platform, as in communities decide what's best for them.

EDIT 2: I'm posting links lol

EDIT 3: Andrew Yang and Christine Todd Whitman are our founders.

Hello from the Forward Party

I'll keep the self-promoting to a minimum since the rules say to do just that. I'm Trevor, and I'm letting y'all know that the Forward Party is getting started here in Louisiana. We're a growing third party with ballot access in other states.

I believe Louisiana is a purple state, and we're a purple party, so I figure we can get along.

And no, we aren't a spoiler like the GP.

If you're interested in what we do, shoot me a DM and I'll give you our website and other deets. In the meantime, stay hydrated.
