Looking for recommendations

Hi everyone! I’m not sure this is even the right place to post but i figured it was worth a shot. i’m looking for some traditional chinese or herbal medicine practitioners and i was wondering if anyone knew of any in the portland area or anywhere in maine for that matter?

i recently worked with a functional gut practitioner and it changed my life and im really looking into doing more functional work via herbs and acupuncture.

thank you in advance!🤍🫶

symptoms post treatment?

i just finished a 4 month protocol to eradicate hydrogen dominant sibo. we just re tested and it’s negative (yay!) but i can’t help but constantly be analyzing every bit of bloating or weird symptoms i get.

we’re working on tapering me off of ppi’s as well as rebuilding my gut and lowering inflammation and what not but i’m still getting bloated sometimes. and i can’t help but keep thinning my sibo came back after just 2 weeks. im on a prokinetic and digestive bitters to prevent relapse until i safely am off of ppi’s. did anybody else still experience symptoms even after eradicating it?

bloated on week 7?

hi all. i have hydrogen dominant sibo (60ppm). i’ve been working with a functional practitioner. i’ve been on bio film disrupters, liver enzymes, prokinetics, etc. i did a course of oregano and berberine for 4 weeks and im currently now on 4 weeks of neem and berberine immediately following that. i have about a week and a half left of the neem and berberine combo and im still getting bloated after meals. i’ve had good days don’t get me wrong. normal stool, less bloating, etc. but i’m still having some pretty bad days with intense bloating. i thought that if this was successful then my bloating would be gone by now.

is it possible for the bloating to persist throughout the entire protocol?
