Error 0x000: The operation completed successfully.

I'm transferring files from my iPhone 11 to Windows 10. Most of them have been transferred, but in the middle of the process, I got a message:

> An unexpected error is keeping you from copying the file. If you continue to receive this error, you can use the error code to search for help with this problem. > Error Ox00000000: The operation completed successfully.

It's confusing as an error should indicate the operation failed to complete. 0x0 is traditionally a success return code. I'm not sure if the files were transferred successfully or not or what I should make of the error message.

My research choosing a VPS for Wordpress and Joplin sync

I just want to share my research, I'm not really seeking recommendations, feel free to write any though.

I have a WP website, I host on Porkbun and my first year is almost up, so I need to migrate or continue paying $120, it was $40, but it was a discount for the first year. I also want to dedicate some storage for a Joplin sync, I've been using Dropbox for the past 6 years, it's free but it's a nightmare.

Anyway, I focus on EU coverage, almost nobody visits my site anyway, but I wouldn't mind a global coverage, but I'm gonna configure Cloudflare so I'll have CDN on their free plan. I took a look at Ionos, Hexabyte, vultr, netcup, Cube Host, and Hetzner. I also checked out the megathread. And I chose netcup because it's cheaper than paying Porkbun for their cloud WP service and I want to learn how to do it myself, I can configure backups and everything myself with LLM's help. It's about 40€ / year for 2GB. 1GB is likely to be too low, so I'll just go for 2GB and that's it. Just wanted to share 🦚

I don't care about cookies has 2 extensions: which should I choose?

I don't care about cookies has 2 extensions now: the commercial and the community version. It's obviously an extension that passes by the GDPR/EU data cookies warnings. Of course it's available on both Chromium and Gecko browsers, the most popular ones.

The commercial version https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/i-dont-care-about-cookies/fihnjjcciajhdojfnbdddfaoknhalnja has been supported for years by Gen Digital. They say it was acquired by Avast, but the Developer isn't updated on the official Chrome Web Store page. The latest version – 3.5.1 – was last updated on June 26, 2024. I'm not sure if a code update matters though, if their database is updated regularly. On the other hand, I have no idea if their database on Avast servers or whatever is updated regularly either.

The community version I still don't care about cookies https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/i-still-dont-care-about-c/edibdbjcniadpccecjdfdjjppcpchdlm has the Github repo https://github.com/OhMyGuus/I-Still-Dont-Care-About-Cookies, where the last commit was made 2 months ago (June 2026), and to src, so maybe it's even worth a dime.

I sometimes have UI problems with the commercial version that I have used for years, so I'm gonna give the community version a try now, and see how it goes. What are your recommendations?

Judge my accent

Hi, could you judge my English accent please? I recorded it in April 2026, but I didn't get myself to upload it until now.

Microsoft Now Makes a Linux Distro Based on Fedora

Azure Linux 4 may not be Microsoft's first Linux distribution... but it is their first general purpose one.

Did anyone manage to install it on their PC? How does it run? Is it good? Does it integrate well with NVIDIA drivers?
