Can I stop a leaf miner and aphid infestation?

I thought my swiss chard was getting floppy because of unusually warm weather but now I’m pretty sure they’re infested with leaf miners. They’re on every plant and half of the leaves, even if I scrape these off, is it too far gone?

I’m also seeing tiny green and tiny white bugs under bok choy and radish seedlings. I’m not sure what they are, maybe aphids? But no visible damage on those.

I’m growing these on a raised bed on my patio. What can I do? Is there a pesticide that will be safe to use?

Are you supposed to know your post-grad geographic preference already?

I’m a 1L applying for 2L positions beginning in November and from my understanding, you generally you return to your 2L firm? Then should I only apply to cities I want to live in post-grad? I’m interested in experiencing other cities during the summer, but I’m not certain I’ll want to stay there so is it worth to still apply?

Like I’ve been in California my whole life and I’m iffy about NYC/Chicago work culture but I’m still curious. Is it generally hard to transfer between offices early on, and would it be a hassle trying to recruit 3L if I don’t want to return to my 2L firm?

Any advice on application strategy when you’re unsure about location?

am i doomed for my f-1 interview when my immediate family resides in the U.S.?

h-4 to f-1. i have an F-1 interview in a month and i’m very worried about getting 214(b). i’m a citizen of another western country (like AUS/CAN/UK) but my ethnicity and birth country are oversubscribed. i have an offer from a reputable law program but no matter how i frame it, it seems that an american J.D. looks suspicious for immigrant intent.

h1b holder (parent) has a pending i-140 petition with a priority date that will probably be current in 2-3 years. i‘ve been living in the U.S. for 10+ years, graduated early from U.S. undergrad. zero home ties, maybe $100 in a local bank account. i have parental funding (100k liquid, 70k stocks, 300k loans). i would have done COS for lower risk but had paperwork delays 😭 i have no plan B. i’m scared i’ll be stranded abroad and i don’t know how to reduce my risk of denial.

should i consult with a lawyer? is there anything they can help me with that i can’t do already? i’m getting quotes of 300 USD for an initial consultation and i imagine the entire package is in the thousands.

please DM me if you can help or have similar experiences
