Rhinestoned Walker

I just finished this walker bag for my mom. I was planning to do the entire front of the bag, but my family said that would be "too much" so I tried to fade the rhinestones out. I'm still very new to all this. These are hotfix glass stones.

Advice needed- rhinestoning over heat transferred images

I need help 😭

I have been using hotfix rhinestones and they work really well directly on fabric. However, when I try to hotfix rhinestones on top of a heat transferred image the rhinestones fall off in the washing machine 😔

This was my first time trying gemtac on top of a heat transferred image. Can someone tell me where I went wrong? Almost all of them fell off in the washing machine 😔

Did I not let it set long enough before washing? I let it set about 12 hours.

Is it because I use hot fixed rhinestones? Those were all I had and I thought it would be okay...

Did I use too much glue?

Please advise 😔 I thrifted a bunch of t-shirts with thermal decals on them that I wanted to rhinestone over and I don't know what to do

Glue recommendations for painful hands

Hi all! Up until now I have strictly been working with hotfix rhinestones. I really want to move into using glue so that they will stay on better when I place them on top of a pre-existing images on clothing (On top of an existing heat transfer).

The problem is that I have rheumatoid arthritis and have extreme difficulty squeezing small tubes 😔 Does anyone have any recommendations for a type of glue that would be easy for me? Anything the size of a tube of toothpaste or smaller is a no-go for my poor hands.

Thank you for your recommendations!

Sudden Arch Foot Pain

Hello I am posting here because it's Saturday and I'm stressed and scared. I've already left a message from my rheumatology office but I'm not expecting them to get back to me anytime soon.

I was diagnosed with ra a few months ago and am on hydroxychloroquine as well as methotrexate. I am weaning off of prednisone and it has been rough. Today was my first day completely without any and I am in so much pain. That isn't really new to me though.

I have never had RA pain in my feet. I woke up this morning with a horrible stabbing throbbing pain at the top of the inner arch of my left foot. I kind of wrote it off and just went on with getting ready to pack up and go on a family vacation. I sat in the car for 8 hours trying to elevate my foot. I took ibuprofen and I put pain cream on it. It's not helping.

And of course, now I am in a cabin in the mountains on a hiking vacation with my family 😭 this pain is next level. It feels like I am injured, worse than any ra pain I've had in my hands. It is now running from the top of my Arch down into my big toe. Stretching my big toe causes the pain to flare to excruciating levels. Is this normal? Has anyone gone through this? What helps?

Oddly, it seems like it hurts worse at rest than it does when I walk. I'm already elevating, applying ice, taking ibuprofen, and my husband is getting me an Ace bandage right now. Honestly, I think I'm just scared and want to hear that it's going to be okay 😩

New to RA hydrochloride

Hi all! I'm just recently diagnosed with RA (about a month ago). I've been living with severe debilitating pain in both of my hands for about 2 years. So in a way, I'm used to that.

My doctor started me on hydroxychloride 200 mg twice a day. And a low dose of Prednisone to help with my pain until the hydrochloride kicks in. About 4 days after starting the hydrochloride, I woke up with huge welts across my neck and chest that itched, burned, generally hurt.

My doctor pulled me off the hydroxychloride and doubled my prednisone. Within a couple days, the welts were gone and I was feeling fantastic! Well, as fantastic as someone with the amount of hand pain can 😅. However, since doubling the prednisone, I have not been able to sleep 😭 I'm also experiencing increased anxiety and panic attacks. Due to this, the doctor has dropped me back to a low dose of Prednisone. She also put me back on hydroxychloride but only 200 mg once a day. So now I can sleep, but I am still in the same amount of pain and I have debilitating exhaustion from the hydroxychloride. I guess I'm just wanting to know if this gets better 😭?

I know that the ultimate goal of the hydroxychloride is to prevent the ra from worsening, but it feels like nothing positive has happened since starting treatment for the ra.
